The concept of ‘choose your own adventure’ has been around for some time, but when technology is in the mix, engine driven stories can provide a new genre with almost limitless uses for marketing and entertainment.
Upset has executed a first of its kind in online entertainment by combining feature film aesthetics, Hollywood talent, gaming and social networking. Leading the development of online interactive film, Upset are combining digital production techniques with the heritage of cinema to explore this new compelling medium. Matt and Toby from Upset (check out www.upset.tv) will talk about trends in online interactive space and share with you the latest of their activities in this area, including the iD3 project with Doritos (http://id3.doritos.co.uk/).
